Why a Website and not an App?

You don't need to download a new app or create an account; simply fill out the fields, and your information will be saved in the Planning Center database. Through the website, you can give a one-time gift, set up a recurring donation, or manage your profile to add new payment methods or see donor statements.

Why Use Email Authentication to Log In?

Passwords aren't secure or simple because they're reused, making them weak, and with passwordless login, you don't have to create an account--all you need is an email address. Email authentication is something that’s starting to be adopted by many services across the internet because of its advantages over traditional passwords.

However, it is slightly slower to log in with an email link. People are typically already logged into their email on their own devices, so the process is pretty quick there; but, if you're using someone else’s phone or a public computer, you'll have to use the link in your email.

Can I give both tithes and offerings?

Yes. The amount you give can be divided into:

  • Pledged Giving

  • General Giving

  • Building Fund

Does Grace Church store my credit/debit card information?

Not only do we not store it, but we don’t have access to it. We use Planning Center who has partnered with Stripe to deliver payment processing.

Is it safe and secure?

Planning Center uses Stripe as its payment processor.  Anyone involved with the processing, transmission, or storage of card data must comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). Stripe has been audited by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
