Grandparenting Matters.

Aside from parents, grandparents are the most significant spiritual influence in the lives of families, children, and youth.

As a grandparent, you are in a unique position of influence to pass down an everlasting spiritual legacy by living out the Gospel within your family.

Join us for this special Growth summit to explore how you can intentionally shepherd your grandchildren to be followers of Jesus as well as to encourage your adult children as disciple-making parents in their homes.

  • The Son, Jesus Christ who is God made flesh, is the Lord and Redeemer of humanity, and in whom alone is salvation.
  • The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God
  • God instituted and ordained the family as the fundamental building block of society and godly nations.
  • Anything that threatens the family also threatens the moral and social fabric of our society
  • Many persons within our society have embraced distorted and destructive perversions of God’s blessings and gifts, seeking to destroy the meanings of God’s Word, the Church and Christian families
  • Children are a blessing from God and should be brought up in a manner that teaches them God’s truth and prepares them for service to God’s kingdom through the Church.
  • We have a God-ordained role in creating a godly heritage by discipling our children and grandchildren.
  • Grandparents are uniquely appointed and positioned to provide our grandchildren with a legacy of faith.
  • Churches must come together in recruiting and equipping grandparents in sharing, learning, and in boldly speaking God’s truth.
  • Grandparents can have a critical role in empowering grandchildren to put on the full armor of God as they encounter life-diminishing attacks by the forces of evil increasingly impacting our culture.
  • Loving our grandchildren means striving to make our own words and actions give evidence of the peace, comfort, security, confidence, freedom, and joy of following Jesus as Lord and Savior.
